Damian Rico is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in community relations and marketing. Currently serving as a Correspondent for The Times of Northwest Indiana since March 2017 and as the Marketing and Community Relations Director at Hospice of the Calumet Area, Inc., Damian has built solid relationships with community leaders and organizations. Previously, Damian held positions including Community Online Director at The Times of Northwest Indiana and Communications Consultant for the City of East Chicago, where responsibilities included advising the Mayor and directing communications efforts. Damian holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, earned between 2001 and 2004.
