Carl D. Rapp

Carl D. Rapp has been with The Timken Company since 2011, serving as Group VP and VP of Power Systems. Prior to joining Timken, Carl was President and CEO of Philadelphia Gear Corporation from 2001 to 2011. From 1998 to 2001, Carl was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Strategic Distribution Inc., and from 1983 to 1998, they were President of Carborundum North America. Carl began their career with Norton Company in 1983.

Carl D. Rapp attended St. John's High School before receiving their BA in Economics & Carl'story from Trinity College-Hartford. Carl then went on to earn their MA in International Relations from Boston University.

Carl D. Rapp reports to Richard G. Kyle, President & CEO. They are on a team with Shelly M. Chadwick - VP, Finance, Chief Accounting Officer, Michael J. Connors - VP, Global Marketing, and Sanjay Koul - MD & Director of Manufacturing, India.
