Agya K. Aning

Agya K. Aning is an experienced journalist with a strong background in investigative reporting and a focus on environmental issues affecting marginalized communities. Currently serving as an Editing Fellow at The Trace since January 2023, Agya previously worked as a Reporter for InsideClimate News from January 2021 to June 2022, where coverage centered on the impacts of environmental hazards on poor and minority communities as part of the Roy W. Howard Fellowship. In addition, Agya has contributed as a Business Reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, specializing in stories related to Wisconsin's real estate, tourism, and entrepreneurship sectors. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Investigative Journalism from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
