The executive team at The Trace has a lot of experience in the journalism industry. The story editor used to work at The New Republic, the news editor used to work at New York Magazine, and the politics editor used to work at Rollingstone.com. They all have a lot of experience in different aspects of journalism, which will help them run The Trace smoothly. They also all have degrees in fields related to journalism, such as public policy studies from Duke University.
