George Bailes

George Bailes has extensive experience in transport planning, currently serving as Director at The Transportation Consultancy since July 2014. Previous roles include Senior Transport Planner at AMEC and JMP Consulting, along with a position as Transport Planner at Birmingham City Council from 2007 to 2012, where George was a speaker at the Transport Practitioners Conference in 2012, presenting on Birmingham's Electric Vehicle Recharging Network. Early career positions included Graduate Transport Planner roles at RPS Transport and Transportation Planning International. George holds an MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University and a BSc in Physical Geography from the University of Portsmouth.
