Nicole S

Nicole S is an accomplished professional in data science with a focus on artificial intelligence and natural language processing. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science (AI) at Travelers since March 2023, Nicole leads the generative AI and NLP technology portfolio for business insurance. Previously, Nicole held the position of Senior Research Data Scientist at Meta from August 2019 to March 2023, contributing to the AI infrastructure/platform and AI for commerce teams, where an experimentation framework for unbiased offline evaluation of low-prevalence models was developed. Earlier experience includes an internship as an Associate Intern at Analysis Group in summer 2018. Nicole S holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biostatistics from UCLA and participated in an exchange program at UCLA.
