Sepideh Hashemi

Sepideh Hashemi, Ph.D., is a data scientist currently employed at Travelers since February 2024, previously holding a similar position at Cognomotiv from March 2023 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a graduate research assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from May 2016 to May 2022, where work focused on developing predictive AI/ML models for complex material science problems within the realm of Material Informatics. Earlier professional experience encompasses a research assistant role in the High Performance Computing Laboratory at the University of Tehran from June 2014 to January 2016. Sepideh Hashemi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution.
