Shari Zakielarz

Shari Zakielarz currently serves as 2nd Vice President at Travelers since March 2012. Prior experience includes managing director for global data services at Legg Mason from March 2005 to January 2012, where Shari directed the development and support of enterprise applications for various business areas, leading a team of over 75 staff globally using agile methodologies. Previously, Shari held the position of IT Director at Nationwide Financial Network from June 2000 to February 2005, focusing on architectural and operational strategies for enterprise web applications. Shari began the career at St. Paul Companies as Manager and Senior Application Architect from December 1988 to June 2000, specializing in project management and architectural leadership for insurance systems. Shari Zakielarz holds an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and a BA in Business and Computer Information Systems from Notre Dame of Maryland University.
