Muneer Panjwani

Vice President of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Development at The Trevor Project

Muneer Panjwani is the Vice President of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Development at The Trevor Project, a non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth. Muneer has been with The Trevor Project since 2015, and in their current role, they are responsible for developing partnerships with corporations, foundations, and government agencies to support the organization's life-saving work.

Prior to joining The Trevor Project, Muneer was the Business Development Manager at DoSomething.org, where they were responsible for securing sponsorships for a variety of cause campaigns. During their time at DoSomething.org, they grew corporate revenue by 300% by developing multi-year partnerships with some of the world's largest companies. Some of their notable clients included Toyota Motors, H&R Block, Alcoa Foundation, Sprint, ASOS, Verizon Wireless, H&M, American Student Assistance, Knight Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, and Ford Foundations.

In 2014, Muneer secured a unique partnership with The White House called "Text With the President", which was the first time ever young people were able to ask President Barack Obama questions about student loan debt via SMS. The campaign won the 2014 Silver Smartie Award in the Global Messaging category presented by Mobile Marketing Association.

Before their work in corporate social responsibility, Muneer was the Director of Youth Programs at NCCJ, where they oversaw programs that promoted inclusion and understanding among young people of all backgrounds. Muneer also founded and served as CEO of Dversify, a social enterprise that provided diversity and inclusion training to organizations across industries.

Muneer Panjwani has completed a Business for Impact - New Strategies Program Certificate from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and is currently pursuing a Social Thought and Political Economy degree with a focus in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
