Nick Gibson

Director, Acquisition & Development, Bay Area at The True Life Companies

Covering the Bay Area, Nick Gibson serves as Property Acquisition Manager with responsibility for due diligence, project financial modeling and analysis, and market analysis for new property sites undergoing evaluation for acquisition and onboarding. Nick also manages the entitlements for each property as assigned, including interfacing with consultants and municipalities, and managing budgets, schedules and invoices. Nick’s efforts support the Management team in obtaining and tracking information, project status, and results for assigned Bay Area properties. He is responsible for conducting thorough research to help achieve project outcomes that meet the parameters of The True Life Companies’ financial requirements.

Nick’s experience in site development, construction, and project management exposes both his passion and capacity to bring projects from site to service. As a Site Development Manager for the Pulte Group, Nick oversaw the demolition, soil abatement, and site development for a 300+ townhome community. He moved on to Brighton Coulson, Inc., as Project and Development Manager where he conducted design coordination meetings with multiple disciplines, managed multiple projects, and procured permits for construction. Nick also managed the feasibility studies for land development on potential projects. Most recently, he was a Project Manager for Toll Brothers in their Urban-High Density group, where he was responsible for managing design consultants, budgets, field staff, as well as sales and marketing for a podium style community with a total budget of $126M.

Nick obtained his B.S. in Construction Management at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo California. He is a licensed General Building and General Engineering Contractor in the State of California. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and specifically likes to go four wheeling.
