Beatrice Orchard

Beatrice Orchard is an experienced policy and public affairs professional currently serving as Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager at The Trussell Trust since August 2022. In addition to this role, Beatrice is the Vice-Chair of Governors for the Hertford Federation Governing Board, actively supporting Hertford Infant and Junior schools, and has been a co-opted governor since March 2021, contributing to educational vision, strategy, and regulatory compliance. Previously, Beatrice held various positions at St Mungo's between 2013 and 2021, including Head of Policy, Campaigns and Research, where responsibilities included influencing government policy to end homelessness. Additional experience includes leadership roles at the Federation of Master Builders and Dods Group PLC. Beatrice holds an MSc in European Public Policy from Birkbeck, University of London and a BA Hons in English and French from the University of Warwick.
