Maxim Cohen (Award-Winning Finance Specialist)

Maxim Cohen is an Award-Winning Finance Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the finance industry. Maxim began their career in 2005 as an Accountant & Business Adviser at Royce Cohen & Company Accountants. In 2016, they joined HMB Finance Group as a Mortgage & Finance Adviser. Later that same year, they established himself as a Finance Specialist. In 2019, they took on the role of Fintech Innovator & Entrepreneur at AdviserTech. In 2020, they founded The UK Accountant and in 2021 they became Group Chief Executive of UK Mortgages, UK Finance and a Standards Board Advisory Panel Member of the Equity Release Council. Maxim is also the Founder & Chief Executive of The UK Adviser Franchise and The UK Adviser Group, which is a BFA accredited franchise business.

Maxim Cohen has a comprehensive educational background. Maxim began their studies in 1997 at King David High School, where they obtained their GCSE and A Levels. In 2010, they attended Kaplan International College London, where they obtained a Professional Qualification in Accountancy. Maxim then went on to obtain a CeMAP from The London Institute of Banking & Finance in 2016, as well as Advanced Mortgage Advice and Equity Release from the Chartered Insurance Institute. In 2019, they began their studies at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where they obtained an Oxford FinTech Programme in 2020. Most recently, they have begun Rabbinical Studies - Isur V’Heter at Machon Limmud Halacha - Lemaan Yilmedu, and is expected to obtain their Semicha in 2022. In addition to these qualifications, they have obtained several certifications from professional institutions.
