Sandeep Arora

Sandeep Arora has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sandeep is the Founder and CEO of The UK Launchpad since 2018. In 2020, they became the Joint Chair of TLA Smart Cities. From 2018 to 2019, Sandeep worked as an Advisor to Moolya ICO at moolya Business Services Pvt. Ltd. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Founder of iCADEMIA from 2016 to 2018.

Sandeep has also worked at RBS Markets and International Banking as the Head of Policy, Framework, and Controls from 2013 to 2017. During their time there, they implemented an enhanced operational risk framework, led the design of risk assessments, and developed a training program.

Before RBS, Sandeep worked at UBS as the Head of Operational Risk for Risk Control, Investment Bank, and Global Asset Management from 2007 to 2011. Sandeep also held roles as COO Process Business Manager and Risk Policy Manager during their time at UBS.

At JPMorgan, Sandeep served as the Joint Head of EMEA Middle Office and Global Head of Risk Reporting from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they worked at JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Product Controller for Emerging Markets.

Sandeep's early career includes roles at Tokyo Mitsubishi as an Assistant Manager and at Coopers and Lybrand as an Audit Supervisor in the Financial Services department.

Sandeep Arora has pursued education in the field of finance and accounting. Sandeep successfully completed the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) program from ICAEW. Additionally, Sandeep obtained the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) degree from GARP. Furthermore, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Brunel University London.
