Lisa Blackmon

Lisa Blackmon is currently an administrative assistant at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Lisa previously worked as a youth services librarian at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library from September 2015 to January 2022. Prior to that, they were a substitute teacher at Madison City Schools in Madison, AL from August 2012 to May 2017. Before that, they were an elementary school teacher at Spring Branch ISD from September 1999 to June 2001, where they taught third grade. Lisa began their teaching career in 1997 at Metro Nashville Public Schools, where they taught fifth grade for two years.

Lisa Blackmon holds a Bachelor of Science in Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.

Lisa Blackmon reports to Kelly Myers, Director Alumni Relations & Special Events & Executive Director Alumni Association. They work with Meagan Owens - Alumni Relations Program Manager, Emily Burnett - Special Events Manager.
