Janet Payne Walker

Janet Payne Walker is an experienced professional in creative services and graphic design, currently serving as the Director of Creative Services and an Instructor at The University of Alabama since January 2015. Prior to this role, Janet held positions as Art Director and Graphic Designer at Communication Arts Company from May 2006 to January 2015, and as an Adjunct Instructor in the Graphic Design Department at Antonelli College from October 2011 to August 2012. Janet's earlier experience includes being the Yearbook Editor at the University of Southern Mississippi, where management of design and editorial teams was key, as well as a design intern at Intermark Group, participating in the innovative Intermark University program. Janet holds a Master of Arts in Health Studies (Education & Promotion) from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Communications from The University of Southern Mississippi.
