Matthew K.

Matthew K. serves as the Executive Director for Housing and Residential Communities at The University of Alabama since 2012, overseeing various departments including Residential Communities and Housing Operations. In addition to this role, Matthew has experience as an Adjunct Professor, teaching courses centered on student learning and development from 2014 to 2017. Previously, Matthew held positions such as Interim Director of First Year Experience and Parent Programs, where responsibilities included supervising staff and enhancing student retention, and Director of Housing Operations, managing a significant residence life department. Prior experiences also include serving as Assistant Director of Residence Life at Lehigh University, Residence Coordinator at Dickinson College, and Assistant for Student Activities and Campus Involvement at Wilson College. Matthew K. holds a Doctor of Education from The University of Alabama, alongside a Master's degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
