Mary Turkal

Mary Turkal is a finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and gift processing. Currently serving as the Assistant Director in the Intercollegiate Athletics Gift Processing and Central Gifts Department at The University of Arizona Foundation since May 2022, Mary acts as a liaison between the UA Foundation Central Gifts and UA Athletics, managing gift commitments, project management, data analysis, and tax receipts. Previously, Mary held positions as a Staff Accountant and Compliance Officer at Aliera Accounting, Inc., an Accounting Specialist at Irvington Community Schools, and Treasurer at Brownsburg Community School Corporation. Mary obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Western Governors University, and has also pursued medical billing and administration studies.
