David Ruth, Ph.D. is currently the Dean of the Center of Inquiry for STEM at UATX. Prior to this, David held the title of Associate Professor of Mathematics at the United States Naval Academy from November 2009 to July 2022. David also has experience as a Permanent Military Professor and Navy Oceanographer in the US Navy from June 1991 to July 2022. David has a diverse educational background, including a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy.
