David Chang

David Chang is a distinguished medical professional currently serving as Professor and Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Professor of Surgery at the University of Chicago Medicine since September 2013. Prior to this role, David Chang was a Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center from April 1998 to August 2013. David Chang's early career included a fellowship in microsurgery at The Buncke Clinic and a plastic surgery fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. David Chang completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Illinois Metro Group Hospitals and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where David Chang also received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
