Erin Kirby

Erin Kirby currently serves as the Senior Director of Principal Gifts at UChicago Medicine, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Erin Kirby spent over 16 years at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, culminating in the role of Senior Director of Advancement for University Initiatives and Campaign Strategy, overseeing comprehensive advancement programs with a focus on major gifts. Erin Kirby also held various advancement leadership positions, including Director of Advancement and Senior Director of Advancement for Research Institutes, managing programs for multiple engineering and science departments. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Stewardship for Principal Gifts at the University of Illinois Foundation. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Business from Miami University.
