Zoraya Velazquez

Zoraya Velazquez, MM, MBA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in medical staff services and credentialing at UChicago Medicine since March 2007. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Medical Staff Services and CVO, Zoraya leads efforts to ensure compliance with accreditation standards for affiliated practitioners and manages the credentialing process for the Clinically Integrated Network. Previous roles include Director of Medical Staff Services, where Zoraya oversaw credentialing programs and evaluated work processes for quality improvement, and Manager of the Medical Staff Office, responsible for managing applications for over 1,000 providers. Zoraya's career also includes experience with companies such as North American Medical Management and Great West Healthcare, supporting provider relations and administrative functions. Zoraya holds an MBA and a Master of Management in Health Care Administration from Robert Morris University.
