Kerri True-Funk

Kerri True-Funk serves as the Associate Director of Resolution Services and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at UChicago CARES since October 2023. Prior to this role, Kerri held the position of Des Moines Field Office Director at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants from December 2019 to September 2023, overseeing field office programs and acting as a liaison with various stakeholders. Kerri's experience includes directing operations and special projects at the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault, managing core programs at Rape Advocacy, Counseling, & Education Services, and serving as Program Director at Rape Crisis Services. Kerri’s early career involved providing case management at Piatt County Mental Health Center. Kerri holds a Master of Arts in Human Services Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies/Sociology from Western Illinois University.
