Nicola Ferrier

Nicola Ferrier is a distinguished Senior Computer Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory since October 2013 and concurrently holds positions as a Senior Fellow at the Consortium for Advanced Science and Engineering at The University of Chicago and as a Fellow at Northwestern University. Prior experience includes a professorship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1996 to August 2013, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University from September 1994 to November 1995, where Nicola Ferrier worked on the development of a fluid-filled tactile sensor, detailed in a published journal article. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University, a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the same institution, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship in Engineering (Robotics) from the University of Oxford.
