Rebecca Starkey

Rebecca Starkey has extensive experience in academic library leadership, currently serving as the Director of Teaching and Academic Engagement at the University of Chicago since July 2001. Previously, Rebecca held the positions of Head of Research and Instruction and Librarian for College Instruction and Outreach at the same institution, as well as Reference Librarian and Instruction Specialist. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, Rebecca worked as Reference Librarian and Instruction Coordinator at Roosevelt University from October 1999 to June 2001. Rebecca holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Chicago.
