Vladimir Riazanski

Research Associate Professor

Vladimir Riazanski, PhD, currently serves as a Research Associate Professor at the University of Chicago since December 2008, having previously held the position of Research Assistant Professor at the same institution. Earlier in academia, Riazanski was an Assistant Professor at North-Eastern Federal University from September 2006 to November 2008 and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Georgia Health Sciences University from May 2005 to August 2006. Riazanski's research journey began as a Postgraduate Research Associate at UCLA from March 2002 to May 2005, following a role as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Bonn University from April 1998 to February 2002. Riazanski earned a PhD in Biophysics from the Institute of Cell Biophysics, Russian Academy of Sciences, between 1995 and 1998, and holds an M.Sci. in Neurobiology from Pushchino State University (1993-1995), along with a B. Sci. in Biology from North-Eastern Federal University (1987-1992).
