Jess Wilke

Jess Wilke is currently working as the Director of Events at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement since September 2023. Prior to this role, they held several positions at the University of Maryland, including Assistant Director, Special Events from April 2019 to the present, Associate Director, Special Events from October 2022 to September 2023, and Assistant Director, College Park Scholars-Life Sciences from August 2013 to August 2019. Before joining the University of Maryland, Jess worked as a Hall Director at the University of Tennessee, managing operations for a residence hall from June 2008 to August 2013. Jess also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Western Illinois University from August 2006 to May 2008, overseeing campus programming and event management. In addition, Jess served as a Graduate Intern for New Student Programs at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte in 2007, where they assisted in orientation sessions and supervised orientation counselors.

Jess Wilke obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wartburg College between 2002 and 2006. Subsequently, from 2006 to 2008, Jess pursued a Masters degree in College Student Personnel at Western Illinois University.
