Catherine Smith

Catherine Smith, MS, LAT, ATC has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Catherine has recently worked at The University of Kansas Health System, where they served in positions such as Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Lead - Acquisitions, Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Manager, Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Lead, and Optimization Analyst II. Prior to that, Catherine worked as a Pitching Coach for Softball Pitching Instructor and held roles such as PRN Office Assistant and Sport Management Intern at ARC Sports Performance. Catherine also worked as a Clinical Athletic Trainer at ROCKHILL ORTHOPAEDIC SPECIALISTS INC and as an Athletic Trainer PRN and Head Athletic Trainer at Harrisonville High School for Belton Regional Medical Center. Catherine's other experiences include being an Athletic Trainer PRN for Overland Park Regional Medical Center, a Substitute Teacher for Harrisonville R-IX School District, a Customer Service Specialist for DICK'S Sporting Goods, and a Customer Service representative for Hyvee, Inc. Catherine also served as a Student Athletic Trainer for University Of Kansas Volleyball.

Catherine Smith received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Athletic Training from The University of Kansas between 2009 and 2013. Catherine then pursued a Master's Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management at the University of Central Missouri from 2015 to 2016. In 2008 and 2009, they attended the University of Rhode Island, focusing on Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Catherine has obtained several certifications including ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer, Rocktape Functional Movement Techniques, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, Certified CPR/AED and Frist Aid for the Healthcare Provider, and M1 Certification from Graston Technique®.
