Lisette Miles, CSPG has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of development and fundraising. Lisette is currently the Director of Development for the School of Engineering at The University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc. Prior to this role, they worked as a Consultant & Coach at Lisette Miles Consulting, providing their expertise to various clients.

From 2017 to 2022, Lisette served as the Director of Development and Gift Planner at California State University, Monterey Bay, where they supported multiple departments and organizations, including the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, the College of Education, the Women's Leadership Council, KAZU 90.3 FM, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and the University Art Committee.

Before that, Lisette worked as the Director of Corporate Giving at the San Francisco Opera, where they played a key role in securing funding for the company's performances and outreach programs. Lisette Miles, CSPG, has an extensive education history. Lisette obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Ballet from the University of Utah from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business from Washington State University, which they completed from 1987 to 1989.

In 2000, Lisette pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, which they completed in 2003.

Lisette's commitment to furthering their knowledge and skills continued in 2004 when they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. There, they completed a Fellowship in the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders.

To enhance their expertise and credentials further, Lisette obtained the Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) certification from the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies in December 2022.
