Josiah Marineau

Josiah Marineau is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke since August 2022. Previously, Marineau held the position of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Political Science at Campbellsville University from August 2016 to May 2023. Marineau's academic journey includes a PhD candidacy at the University of Texas-Austin, where research on the Aiding Peace Project involved managing data collection efforts. Leadership experience includes serving as a Task Team Leader at Innovations for Peace and Development and a Research Assistant at the Pardee Center for International Futures. Josiah Marineau began career foundations in public service as Government Relations Director for the Student Government at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and served as a Healthcare Specialist in the Alaska Army National Guard. Marineau holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and two Master of Arts degrees in International Studies from the University of Denver.
