Lecturer In The Joint Anu-upng School Of Business & Public Policy at The University of Papua New Guinea

Christopher T Hnanguie is a seasoned economist currently serving as a Retainer Consultant for the Special Task Force on High Impact National Policies and Projects at the Department of National Planning & Monitoring and holds the position of Team Leader/Chief Economist at the North Bougainville Special Economic Zone and the Ihu Special Economic Zone Authority. Additionally, Christopher works as an Evaluation Economist for the United Nations Development Programme, focusing on evaluating and formulating Papua New Guinea's foreign aid policies. As Managing Director and Chief Economist at CJ Valuers Ltd, Christopher leads various significant projects, including the National Investment Policy for the Investment Promotion Authority and the Socio-economic Development Masterplan for Bougainville. With extensive academic credentials, including master's degrees from Victoria University of Wellington, Ateneo de Manila University, and the University of Asia and the Pacific, along with a bachelor's degree from The University of Papua New Guinea, Christopher also lectures in business and public policy at The University of Papua New Guinea.
