Kevin Chan

Kevin Chan is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland since March 2019 and a VMO Upper GI Surgeon at Metro North Hospital and Health Service, also starting in February 2019. Additionally, Kevin holds positions as an Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon at multiple hospitals, including St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside, and The Wesley Hospital, all since February 2019. Kevin completed previous fellowships at Concord Hospital, St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, and St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne between 2016 and 2019, and served as a General Surgery Registrar at Queensland Health from 2011 to 2016. Kevin's medical education includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the same institution. Further training includes attaining FRACS in General Surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and completing a Post Fellowship Training Program in Upper GI through ANZGOSA.
