Mark O'Brien

Mark O'Brien is an experienced healthcare professional with significant leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chair of the Quality Advisory Board at Italo-Australian Welfare Association and as an Associate Fellow and Programme Director at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Mark also holds an Adjunct Professorship at The University of Queensland and a Non-Executive Director position at St John of God Health Care. Previous roles include Advisory Board Member at Dietitian Connection and International Program Lead for Risk Prevention at Medical Protection Society. Mark co-founded the Cognitive Institute, serving as Medical Director until its integration with Medical Protection Society. A graduate of The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree, Mark has a rich history in clinical practice and numerous board and committee positions, contributing extensively to medical education and healthcare governance.
