The current board of directors at The University of Queensland have a wide range of experiences in different industries, including education, research, and business. Many of the directors have experience working in Queensland, Australia, in various roles such as teachers, substitute teachers, and directors of research. The board also includes a president of a society for experimental biology and an editor-in-chief for a journal of experimental biology. Lastly, the directors have educational backgrounds from universities such as The University of Queensland, University of St Andrews, and the University of Melbourne.
