Arthur Clune

Arthur Clune is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at The University of Sheffield since April 2021. With a keen focus on architecture, strategy, development, cloud solutions, and digital transformation, Arthur has been instrumental in enhancing IT support for researchers, particularly in data science and engineering. Prior experience includes various roles at the University of York, such as Director of Infrastructure and Faculty IT, where strategic leadership was provided in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and high-performance computing services. Arthur's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from The University of Edinburgh and a B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of York.
