Dr Laura Dean

Dr. Laura Dean currently serves as President Elect of The British Psychological Society and as a Thesis Supervisor for the Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London. With extensive experience at The University of Sheffield since 2013, Dr. Dean holds roles as a Senior Teaching Fellow, Programme Director for MSc Occupational Psychology, Academic Lead for Teaching Excellence, and Director of Academic Integrity. Prior positions include teaching and assessing at The Open University, leading on distance learning at the University of Leicester, conducting research at Birkbeck, and providing customer service assessments at emqc Ltd. Dr. Dean's early career included roles in employability at Leeds Metropolitan University and guidance interventions as a Careers Coordinator. Dr. Dean holds a Doctor of Education from The University of Sheffield and multiple degrees in Occupational Psychology and related fields from esteemed institutions.
