Isha Mistry

Isha Mistry is a Master's student in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at The University of Sheffield, actively engaged in various leadership and educational roles. Currently serving as a Student Fundraiser, Isha connects with alumni to discuss their experiences and answer current student inquiries. As a Student Ambassador and SURE Scholar, Isha conducted research on Magnetically Actuated Ingestible Robots, developing laboratory skills and creating complex mechanical systems. Additional contributions include mentoring math students through the Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy, co-founding Heartificial, where market research on artificial heart models was conducted, and assuming leadership roles in the University of Sheffield Hindu Society as Treasurer and in Heart of the North as Project Lead. Past experience includes serving as a Senior Prefect at Dr Challoner's Grammar School.
