Kurt De Vos is a Professor of Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience at The University of Sheffield, where Kurt has held various academic positions since November 2011, including Senior Lecturer and Lecturer. Prior to this, Kurt served as a Reader in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield from January 2019 to January 2020 and worked as a Senior Researcher at King's College London from December 2006 to November 2011. Kurt's earlier roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia University, the University of Sheffield, and the University of Manchester. Kurt obtained a PhD in Biotechnology from Ghent University, where Kurt also completed a Licentiate degree in Biotechnology and studied Chemistry. Kurt further enhanced academic qualifications with a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching from The University of Sheffield.
