Kim Wingo

Kim Wingo serves as the Director of Research Project Planning & Support and the Director of Education, Outreach, Recruiting & Student Programs at The University of Southern Mississippi, where responsibilities include overseeing education and outreach initiatives for the NSF EPSCoR RII-Track I Center for Emergent Molecular Optoelectronics and managing various federal grants. With prior experience as the Associate Director of Recruiting, Outreach & Student Programs at Camellia Healthcare and Project Manager at The University of Southern Mississippi, Kim excelled in talent management, educational coordination, and grant-funded project oversight. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Speech Communication and Rhetoric and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, both obtained from The University of Southern Mississippi.
