Lauren Hales is a Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student at The University of Southern Mississippi since August 2021. Additionally, Lauren serves as the Faith Community Engagement Coordinator at Church Health, focusing on fostering the Church's commitment to holistic care within Memphis faith communities. Previous experience includes roles as Development Coordinator at the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Interim Garden Program Director at Memphis Tilth, Episcopal Service Corps Intern at Camp Mokuleia, Community Engagement Intern at the Memphis Center for Food and Faith, Farmers Market Intern at GrowMemphis, and Rhodes Institute for Regional Studies Fellow at Rhodes College. Lauren holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies and Spanish from Rhodes College, complemented by studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and Estudio Sampere.
