Lydia Coffey Pierce

Lydia Coffey Pierce currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs at The University of Southern Mississippi, a position held since January 2017. Previous experience includes serving as Conference and Event Services Manager at Mary Kay Inc. from March 2009 to March 2019, and as a Senior Consultant for the Hattiesburg Convention Commission between July 2013 and March 2016. Lydia also worked as a Sales Coordinator at Residence Inn by Marriott in Hattiesburg, MS, from October 2009 to February 2013, where responsibilities included supervising the front desk team and addressing guest issues. Early work experience includes a role as a Staff Member at Waukaway Springs Christian Retreat Center from May 2004 to December 2006. Lydia holds a Master's degree in Human Capital Development from The University of Southern Mississippi (2021-2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in English Creative Writing from Mississippi University for Women (2005-2009).
