Ian McKay

Ian McKay is an experienced professional currently serving as an Ambassador for Age Irrelevance since April 2023. In addition, McKay has held the position of Independent Board Director at Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC since October 2021, chairing the Remuneration & Nominations Committee. As a Professor at the University of Stirling and a former Chair of its Advisory Board, McKay has contributed significantly to building connections between the university and the business sector. McKay also owns Otherhand Ltd and previously served as Independent Chair of the Police Negotiating Board and Scottish Police Consultative Forum. Other roles included Board Member of the Security Industry Authority and Board Director at Critiqom Ltd, along with membership on various committees and councils. McKay holds a BA in Education & English Studies and a Diploma of Education from the University of Stirling.
