Jodie Geldard is a PhD researcher at the University of Stirling, focusing on Quaternary science, glaciology, and geomorphology, specifically the dynamics of former outlet glaciers from the West Highland Icefield during the Younger Dryas/Loch Lomond Stadial. In addition, Jodie serves as an Expedition Guide and Glaciology Lecturer for Quark Expeditions, leading guests in polar environments and delivering educational presentations. Previous experience includes mentoring students as a Graduate Mentor at Sheffield Hallam University and working as a Laboratory Assistant at the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre, processing rock samples for analysis.
