Charles Googe currently serves as President of the Tennessee Association of Museums since March 2022 and has been an Adjunct Professor of History at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga since August 2019. Additionally, Charles has held the position of Rail Camp Director at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum since 2020 and has been a Board Member of the Tennessee Association of Museums Inc since 2016. Previously, Charles was the Executive Director of the Charles H. Coolidge Medal of Honor Heritage Center from 2016 to 2018 and served as Adjunct Faculty at Austin Peay State University from January 2013 to December 2016. Charles holds a Master of Arts in Military History from Austin Peay State University (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Union University (2006-2010).
