Connie Lauridsen Childs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international affairs and language services. Since November 1997, Connie has served as the Director of International Affairs at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, overseeing all immigration services for the university. Concurrently, Connie has been a freelance Danish translator since 2005, utilizing native language skills for translation projects. Previous roles include Editor at Propwash Publishing from 1986 to March 2008 and International Student Advisor at the University of Memphis from June 1996 to November 1997. Connie holds a Diversity Certificate from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Memphis, as well as an educational background from Odense Universitet in Denmark.
