Interim Associate Vice Chancellor For Research Cores at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center

Deidre Daria has extensive experience in research leadership and flow cytometry, currently serving as the Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Cores at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center since July 2024, while also acting as the Director of the UTHSC Flow Cytometry Cell Sorting Core since April 2018. Prior roles include being a Researcher at Battelle, where responsibilities included project management and acting as a principal investigator for studies evaluating immune responses, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lab Manager at Universitätsklinikum Ulm, where Daria developed multi-color flow cytometry panels and trained personnel. Daria's foundational experience includes working as Research Tech IV at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, focusing on hematopoietic stem cell research. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. from Universitätsklinikum Ulm, an M.Sc. from Miami University, and a Bachelor's degree from Otterbein University.
