Herbert Zeman

Herbert Zeman is an accomplished professional in biomedical engineering and imaging with extensive experience spanning several decades. At the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Zeman currently holds the title of Emeritus Associate Professor, having contributed to the field since 1990. Previously, Zeman served as Chief Scientist at Luminetx Corporation, where innovation led to the development and enhancement of the VeinViewer. Zeman has held various positions, including Medical Physicist at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Stanford University, with research focused on synchrotron radiation coronary angiography. In addition to academic roles, Zeman was actively involved in fundraising for gay rights initiatives through the Human Rights Campaign. Educational background includes a PhD and MS in Physics from Stanford University.
