Jeffrey Towbin

Jeffrey Towbin is a prominent pediatric cardiologist, currently serving as Professor and Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at both the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital since February 2015. In addition to directing clinical care and research services, Jeffrey Towbin serves as Executive Co-Director of The Heart Institute and Vice Chair of Pediatrics for Strategy Advancement, collaborating with leadership across multiple institutions. Prior experience includes roles as Professor and Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine, where Jeffrey Towbin established significant programs in heart failure, transplantation, and cardiovascular genetics. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and advanced degrees in cell biology and biology.
