Gary Gray

Gary Gray is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in higher education and corporate environments. Currently serving as Assistant Provost for Finance and Administration at the University of Tennessee since 2010, Gary has spearheaded significant initiatives such as the Budget Model Redesign project and oversees budgeting and financial operations for academic affairs. Prior to this role, Gary held various positions including Senior Manager of Planning and Reporting at Marriott International, where a team of 30 analysts was established, and roles in financial analysis at Kimberly-Clark, First American Title Corporation, AT&T, and IBM. With a strong educational background that includes an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Michigan, Gary has also contributed to academic fields as an adjunct instructor and has a rich history in finance leadership in diverse sectors.
