Jody Crane

Jody Crane, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Clinical Officer of TeamHealth Emergency Medicine, positions held since January 2018. With a robust background in emergency medicine, Jody has been a faculty member in the Physician Executive MBA Program at the University of Tennessee and an ED Faculty member at IHI since 2006. Previous roles include President of X32 Healthcare, Chief Clinical Operations Officer for Emergency Medicine at Sheridan Healthcare, and various leadership positions at Mary Washington Hospital and Mid-Atlantic Permanente Group. Jody's educational credentials include an MBA with a focus on Lean Healthcare Operations from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, an Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and a Doctor of Medicine from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Virginia.
