Joe Scogin

Joe Scogin currently serves as Chief of Staff at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Joe Scogin was the Chief Advancement Officer for Strategic Priorities and Senior Associate Athletic Director & Assistant Provost at the University of Tennessee from 2013. Joe Scogin's career also includes significant roles at the University of Missouri, where Joe held various positions including Associate Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, and Director of Athletic Academic Services from 2005 onward. Joe Scogin holds a Ph.D. in Education, School, and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and earned a Master of Science in Health & Human Performance/Sport Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fort Hays State University, in addition to an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Barton County Community College.
